A rare 1935 Gypsy Major Propeller is to go under the hammer at a Norfolk auction. The auction, the July sale of James and Sons, is doubling up as a rehearsal for the Great Centenary Charity Auction and will therefore be held at Raynham Hall near Fakenham, a stately home which is not normally open to the public.
The auction takes place on July 30th starting at 10AM sharp, and the propeller is lot 12.
The Great Centenary Charity Auction, which will take place at the hall on September 21st, seeks to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War 1 by raising funds for victims of blast injuries.
