“REGIMENT” OF UNIFORMS RAISES £20,00 AS 2106 AUCTION IS LAUNCHED IN NORFOLK
The chairman of The Royal British Legion will present certificates to the team of volunteers for the Great Centenary Charity Auction at Fakenham Racecourse on Monday 21st at 6:30PM.
The Centre for Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College hosted a visit of the auction organisation.
“The work of the centre is of great significance to the lives and injuries to servicemen and women” Said Julian Kirk “We are pleased to be raising funds for this important research funded by The Royal British Legion”
“The second auction to be held on June 29th 2016 is now open for consignments, and we are grateful for the items donated which range from old uniforms and military items to paintings and silver – many service families are proud to donate medals and bayonets to the auction” added Colonel David James, Director of the Great Centenary Charity Auction.
