David James: As our chairman and Senior Valuer; David founded the business in 1969 on his retirement from the British Army.
David is an experienced Auctioneer and Valuer with over 40 years of accumulated specialist knowledge spanning Coins and Medals. His knowledge is not confided to these fields and he has an interest and knowledge of Antiquities Maps, Ephemera, Postcards, Cigarette Cards, Rare Stamps and Postal History.
Robert Haynes: Robert has been involved with antiques and fine art since his mid-twenties as a collector, dealer, agent and valuer.
Since the late nineties he has worked almost full time for London Auctioneers as a Valuer. He now divides his time between London and Norfolk.
Patrick Pearson VRD, RDP, FRPSL: Patrick has been involded with Philately throughout his life. His past appointments include President of the Royal Philatelic Society, London and Chairman of their Expert Committee.
Patrick has also written a number of books including: Advanced Philatelic Research; Postal History of Iraq and the investigation of the Grinnell Hawaiian missionaries by the Expert Committee of the Royal Philatelic Society.
Alongside the above we have a number of other experts ready to work with you covering Fine Art, Silver, Toys and more.
We are able to value your collectors items at our Fairs and Roadshows.
This service is free but we would be pleased if you would make £1 donation to The Royal British Legion for this service.
For valuation of large collections for Insurance, Probate and Family Division which require home visits fees will apply. Valuation certificates can be issued.
We are also able to carry out valuations at our offices.
